Resurrection Youth Ministry, Resurrection Faith Formation, Neighborhood Food Pantry, and the Northwestern Medicine Doctors are preparing for the
2nd Annual Thanksgiving Frozen Turkey Dinner Drive on
Saturday, November 22nd 2025

Between now and then, we are looking for donations of:
· Holiday ribbons
· Holiday paper plates
· Napkins
· Cookies
· Cake Mix
· Frosting
· Kitchen Towels
Donations will be accepted in the Narthex of the Church until November 16th. Donations can also be brought before, during, and after Tuesday and Wednesday Faith Formation classes beginning November 4th.
The “Assemble and Wrap” time by our Youth and families will take place:
Sunday, November 16 (following 10:30 MASS), and
Tuesday, November 18 (6pm to 9pm), and
Wednesday, November 19 (4pm until we Finish)!
These gift bags will be handed out by Youth Ministry on Saturday, November 22nd, from 8 AM until Noon, when 400 grateful clients from five (5) area NFPs arrive to pick up their Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner.
Parents: Are you or any Young Adults or Neighbors you know available to help at 7 AM on Friday, November 21st? Might you be able to assist the Neighborhood Food Pantry in unloading 500 Frozen Turkeys and storing them in freezers here at Resurrection Church? Do you work for a company that offers VTO (Volunteer Time Off) opportunities?

We will be outside along the grounds of the Resurrection Church campus. Two shifts (7:30 AM-9:30 AM) and (9:30 AM-11:30 AM) will assist with welcoming our clients along the drive-thru and loading Thanksgiving Dinners into their cars. Please be prepared to dress warmly for the weather.
