Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry
We are seeking to hire a Christ-centered, passionate, spiritually mature Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Middle School, High School, and Young Adult (18-35) members of the parish. The position is for 15 hours a week and may include evening and nights, depending on events.
Job responsibilities include: Coordinate youth attendance at retreats, conferences, mission trips, and special events. Collaborate with other church staff and ministries to integrate youth and Young Adult Ministry (YAM) activities into larger church community. Network with area Youth Ministers to promote and invite participation in local and Diocesan YM events for youth 6-12; attend Diocesan Deanery meetings. Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for youth programs. Nurture relationships with Young Adults and their families to help build our YAM. Coordinate and plan service opportunities, speakers, and events for YAM to participate in.
